Play Instructions:
  • Install the game - Full Installation.
  • Apply the official Speed Busters v1.1 Patch.
  • Copy the video files from your CD in your game directory:
    D:\DataBin\video\*.* -> C:\UbiSoft\SpeedBusters\DataBin\video\
  • Use R!SC's unSafedisc to encrypt the executable.
  • Delete SpeedBusters.exe and SpeedBusters.icd.
  • Rename the working TESTME.EXE to SpeedBusters.exe.
  • Extract the PATCH.COM Patch from the archive to the game directory.
  • Execute the Patch to remove the CD-Check.
  • Play the Game!

CD-Copy:
  • First create an ISO image of the original using Nero (it will take some time to complete because of the unreadable errors). Make sure the CD-Label is set to: SPB
  • Burn the ISO image.

Play Instructions:

  • Install the game.
  • Replace the original SPEEDBUSTER.EXE with the one from the archive.
  • Play the Game!
NOTE: It doesn't matter that the fixed SPEEDBUSTER.EXE is 1.231.360 bytes and the original is only 159.744 in size.

This Fixed executable also seems to work with the GERMAN, DUTCH, SPANISH, ITALIAN & SWEDISH version!

The US version is not protected. Use an 80 minutes CD-R or just remove the PODSHAREWARE.EXE file and burn it to a 74 minutes CD-R.
